The brief history of the 6119 is that it started out as a single Filter'Tron 6120. Then it went to a dual Hilo'Tron with painted ƒ holes (this is now called the G6119-1962HT). This particular instrument is the current straight ahead G6119 Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose (nee Tennessean) equipped with dual Filter'Trons and a Tune-O-Matic bridge. This is the least expensive of all the Pro Series Filter'Tron Gretschs with zero performance compromises. With a Single cutaway hollow body, 16" wide x 2.5" deep, constructed of laminated maple with bound F holes, three piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, a 3-way pickup selector switch, two volume controls, master volume & master tone, ebony based Adjusto-Matic bridge, chrome hardware, Chrome-Plated Grover 102-18c Rotomatic™ Die-Cast Tuners, Gretsch by Bigsby® B6C vibrato tailpiece, 25.5" scale. Deep cherry stain with gloss finish. This guitar absolutely "sings". It's tones are perfect for Jazz as well as country, from Rockabilly to Beatles. (Don't forget George Harrison thought the "Gretsch Sound" was awesome too). Come experience it for yourself!
