Description

1958 Jimmy Wakely relica White Falcon built twenty years ago on a ’58 trestle braced Gretsch Country Club using NOS binding purchased from Duke Kramer many moons ago. Correct historically accurate thicker binding, nut width placement and neck construction. Has 50’s unmarked (not yet PAF) cover filtertrons. Body shape more accurate than new reissue.

See photo with Black Falcon to compare body, binding, number of frets, neck joint etc. Much cheaper than a new custom shop Gretsch. Fifties body and parts. Neck with larger headstock custom made by Steve Dvorak of Chicago (Wooden Music). Note detail in the inlay, also the thick binding around headstock.

Would fool most as it has aged well. Recent neck set so it’s ready to go, way under $10K. Also in photo is another Hot Rod Gretsch built on a ’58 trestle braced Double Anniversary with custom inlay and paint. Signed by Scotty Moore. Details soon. $Call For Price.
