1978 or 1980 build

  • Old growth Brazilian Rosewood back & sides
  • Spruce top, looks to be Sitka, with the wonderful golden color that only time can provide
  • Tons of finish crazing on the top
  • Grained Ivoroid body & fretboard bindings, as well as heelcap
  • John Greven recently repaired the back crack and reset the neck
  • There is an old, pro-repair of a headstock fissure
  • After a Fedex mishap, the back & sides have been repaired again and refinished by Jim Hewett of Hewett Guitars
  • This is some super high grade Brazilian rosewood, well worth preserving
  • Ebony fretboard with abalone diamond fret markers
  • Brazilian rosewood headstock faceplate
  • Vintagey Greven and Co banner headstock logo

    We accept Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Discover from USA residents and good ol' cash. Personal checks are accepted under the condition that shipment is delayed until the check clears the bank. TN residents add 9 1/4% sales tax.

    We ship Fedex ground insured, unless otherwise specified by the buyer. On finer instruments, we insist on overnight shipment for safe handling. Buyer pays shipping unless otherwise agreed upon. International shipments are via FedEx.

    Must have prior approval of return. Opened strings are not returnable. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your guitar, simply return it fully insured (with prior authorization) via shipping method we agree upon. When we receive the instrument in the same condition as when we shipped it, you will happily be issued a refund minus all shipping costs.
