This stunning Grand Tour from Grez Guitars pays tribute to the elegance of mid-’50s Gibson archtops, with a custom sunburst finish and a uniquely patterned pickguard inspired by early 1955–56 L-5 CES and Super 400 models. The design cues are further echoed by the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Staple P-90 in the neck—an unmistakable nod to the dual-staple configurations found on those vintage giants.
Rather than doubling down on the staples, the bridge position features a standard Duncan Custom Shop P-90, adding some extra bite and midrange push when you need it. It’s a perfectly voiced combination for articulate jazz tones, warm cleans, and smoky overdrive or bluesy-grit alike.
The Grand Tour is a compact 15” carved-top archtop with a 2” body depth and a 16th-fret neck joint, weighing in at a featherweight 5.8lbs. Thanks to Grez’s unique Sprung Mass Tuning, this guitar delivers an exceptionally rich and open acoustic resonance, preserving the low-end body that many archtops lose.
Built from a single piece of Honduran mahogany for the back, sides, and neck, and topped with Sitka spruce, this instrument balances warmth, clarity, and response with refined visual flair. Finished in nitrocellulose and appointed with unique TK Smith Bakelite “Radio-Style” knobs, MOP dot inlays, and a stainless Grez tailpiece, it’s both a modern performer and a vintage-inspired beauty.

Returns on New items are accepted (unless noted in the description), and must occur within 4 days from when you receive the item. (buyer must notify us that they will be returning the item within 4 days of receiving the item, or return will be void) Buyer pays for shipping cost , Buyer is responsible for returning the item undamaged, we can provide return label which cost will be deducted from the refund owned to the buyer.
