Description

Check out this great 2015 NOS Retro by Don Grosh. Don builds a series of F-style guitars as well as a few of his own designs and he builds them right, in very small quantities.

This fabulous Grosh S-style guitar has the following specs: an Adler body and a total weight of just 7 pounds, 5 ounces; a "59 Burst" nitrocellulose finish, a satin-finished Maple neck with medium round-back shape and depth measurements of .85" at the first fret and .95" at the twelfth; a sweet Indian Rosewood fret board with 10" radius, medium frets and 1.625" nut; three Grosh 60's Fat single coils along with a 5-way, master volume; a Gotoh 510 trem bridge with drop-in arm; and locking Kluson tuners.

I've sold many Grosh guitars over the years and they never disappoint. This is an incredibly well built instrument with equally good playability and tone. Check out the brief sound sample included herein and I thing you will agree. On virtually every level, this guitar can compete head on with the very best team-built guitars from the Fender Custom Shop.

Built in 2015, this lovely Grosh is in excellent condition. Upon really close inspection you will find a few impressions, the worst of which I have included a photo of. There is very light evidence of play along the dark parts of the burst finish, but you will have to really look for any of these issues and the overall condition is superb. The fabulous medium frets are flawless. It comes in it's original premium G&G case with the drop-in trem arm and certificate of authenticity.

If you have been seeking a very high quality Strat-style instrument at a reasonable price, this may be the guitar for you. Highly recommended!
