Folks, what we have here is 6 lbs, 8 oz of Guild goodness that won't set you back 4-5k. The Brian May Standard produces all the great tones you would expect from one of these models and the guitar itself is an absolute joy to play!
The light weight, combined with a super-comfortable neck will make you not want to put this guitar down. It's also one that you can lean up against your amp between sets because it's not "dead mint." It has some surface scratches, pick swirls and most noticeably a doink above the humbucker and a small finish spot on the bass side of the headstock. These are not exactly grievous errors and the guitar and original case have both been well-maintained over these last 25 years.
It's a great Guild at a nice price- just like all the items you'll find here at Southern Elk headquarters. Please feel fre to call or email with any questions and as always, thanks for stopping by!
