1965 Guild® Capri CE100D (2014 Reissue) Sunburst, Excellent, Original Hard, $2,295.00

Selling for the original owner: one very early 1965 Guild Capri CE100D, sunburst finish, with small flame, front & back. there is much more curl than shows in these pictures. Overall condition is about 8 out of 10. It could use some minor rubout around the A tuner, which the repairman forgot to do. Pots are dated 3rd week of 1965. Frets are in excellent condition. All parts are original. The only issue that I feel needs to be mentioned, is a glued & filled stress split along the maple inlay & mahogany neck from the first fret to the 4th fret. I asked the repair man to clean the dirt out of the split / scratch, & it was much less noticeable before it was done. Definitely more comfortable to play at this point. Original DeArmond pickups!
The original hard case is missing some of the fauxgator covering, which could probably be replaced by a luggage repair shop.
