Description

This 1977 Guild D 25 serial number 150706 is in very good condition. This beautiful dreadnought has had a professional neck reset performed by our craftsmen here at Imperial Guitar and Soundworks. Prior to acquiring the instrument, the bridge had been shaved down a bit. This does not affect performance or set up.

This cherry red D 25 features a solid spruce top with mahogany sides and arched mahogany back, mahogany neck, 20 fret rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays, rosewood bridge, tortoise plastic pickguard, black body binding, w-b-w top purfling, 3-on-a-plate open-gear chrome tuners, gold silkscreened headstock logo, 15-3/4" lower bout, 1-11/16" nut width and a 25-5/8" scale length.

As most seasoned acoustic guitarists are aware, a neck reset on older guitars is not unusual due to the effects of string tension over decades. Over time all instruments require this procedure. With this D 25 it’s already been taken care of.

Guild guitars have always been quality instruments, built solidly with excellent tone and timbre. This particular D 25 is very lively and resonant while being well balanced. Nice guitar, nice price.

Original hard shell case included.

***Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
***This is a specific item that is also being offered for sale in our brick & mortar location. It is possible that it has just been sold. Please ask if it is still available before purchasing.
***It is our policy to require a signature on delivery of all musical instruments. Please let us know if you prefer no signature required when ordering or we will automatically require a signature.
