Up for sale is a stunning sounding 1997 Guild D-55 in its original natural finish. Specs of this model include a spruce top with rosewood back and sides, ebony bridge and fingerboard, gold Grover tuners and a cool vibe. Overall this guitar is in excellent condition less some light dings, dents and play-wear. There are two very faint stress cracks coming off either side of the nut that have been professionally repaired and touched up by local luthier Jeff Hoppe. The action is currently very comfortable and low and the guitar plays quite well. There is a dead spot at the 15th fret on most of the strings. All other positions ring out clearly as they should. There is an aftermarket pickup installed as well as volume / tone knobs on the bass side of the body. Pro setup in house plays well and sounds huge. Comes complete with its original hard case and Guild paperwork.
