1967 Guild F-212 SN. AN-1919
This is a one owner guitar, purchased recently from the original owner who hadn't played the guitar much in the last 40 years or so. That fact shows, as the guitar is free from almost any signs of play wear or handling of any kind on the finish, frets, neck, etc. Very clean cosmetically and though it has a new bone saddle everything else is original. The mahogany back and sides are crack free. The spruce top has just had a pick guard crack (under the B strings) glued and cleated and a hairline crack below the bridge glued as well. In addition, several loose back braces were reglued and the neck was reset. The guitar needs nothing currently. The F-212 has a lower bout width of 15 3/4" and a 25 1/2" scale. The nut width is 1 7/8". The neck is straight and the top is flat under tension. The action is set at 6/64" at the low E (12th fret) and 5/64" at the high E (12th fret) with plenty of saddle. Playability is low and easy all the way up the neck, intonation is good. Sounds great. Comes with the original hard case, original hang tags and Guild maintenance instructions. $1195
