When a guitar has "XL" in it's name you know it's a big boy. With a 17" belly, Guild's F212 XL is as Jumbo as they come. The enhanced bottom end you get with a jumbo is great for balancing out the extra treble strings, delivering the best-est most lush sound you can coax out of a twelve stringer. This vintage piece has all the hallmarks of a guitar that is hard to put down with plenty of wear in the paint and a nice deepening of the amber color on top. It is structurally sound already having had a neck re-set. There are two small repaired cracks on top by the sound-hole that have been cleated and a repaired crack that runs of the length of the back as well. Both have been inspected by our in-house luthier and the guitar needs no further repairs at this time. It's an easy player with a 1-3/4" wide nut width and has a pretty substantial neck size. It is straight with no twisting and no ramps or humps. Everyone who picks it up loves it and we think you will too. Spruce top, mahogany back, sides, neck, ebony fingerboard. 5.6 lbs. OHSC included.
