Guild F212XL Jumbo 12 String…A top notch instrument
This is one of the great classic 12 strings. It is one of the workhorses of the Guild family. Every 12 stringer knows the special tone of this brand and model. This particular guitar is now over 40 years old and shows the life of a true road warrior; Both in wear and in that special aged tonal quality. There are two cracks that have been professionally repaired on the upper bouts as well as two small ones that are at the base of the neck. None are structural or have risk of expanding. There is some scuffing on the back and some light scratches and wear on original pick guard...Now, having pointed out the flaws and blemishes...This entire guitar has been professionally inspected, repaired and set up by my luthier. It is in like new condition from a player's standpoint. The action is low for a 12 string and there is no buzzing. It plays smooth! The back and sides are mahogany and the top spruce giving that full projection you expect from a Guild 12 string in this jumbo size. The neck mahogany with the fret board ebony, and straight as an arrow. The frets are completely reconditioned with lots of wear left. Comes with Hardshell case. If you have been waiting to add a 12 string to your collection, you can’t beat the price of this wonderful classic 12 string instrument...Under $1000...and someone else put in all the work of breaking her in. Plays and feels like an old friend!
