This Jumbo shaped acoustic is equally suited for strumming and fingerpicking, and produces a sweet, balanced tone. The perfect choice for the versatile musician, the Guild F-240E features a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides, and arched mahogany back. Guild’s signature arched back design allows for great volume and projection, long sustain, and a lush, full sound. The F-240E features Guild’s AP-1 pickup, a bone nut and saddle, pearloid rosette, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and a matte polyurethane finish. Available in Natural.

Guild/Fishman Sonitone GT-1: full, dynamic tone
The Guild/Fishman GT1 with Sonicore pickup in the F-240E is a wonderfully designed system that naturally and fully translates the acoustic tone of this fine instrument. The sound is full and dynamic onstage, and it pairs great with a microphone for recording parts at home or in the studio. Volume and tone controls are mounted directly in the soundhole for easy access, and a look that won't detract from your guitar's natural beauty.

Guild outfitted the F-240E with its legendary scalloped X-bracing. This innovative pattern uses crisscrossing, overlapped braces in the body that support better resonance and sustain — as well as promote longevity and durability. In addition, a genuine bone and nut saddle along with a pau ferro bridge support overall resonance and tone.
