1959 Guild Granada archtop X-50 BLOND!
Killer guitar, in excellent plus condition. And a blond one! We have never seen one of these with a blond finish. Wonderful player, virtually no fret wear and a nice chunky neck. When we got it the original binding was coming off- unlike a Gretsch it hadn't stained the body, so took it to the guy I have used for almost 30 years, and had it rebound with the correct color/size/cosmetically correct binding- it was single ply originally, and turned out great. Much like a Gretsch, when the guitar isn't played, and sits in the case for long period of times binding deterioration happens, and this guitar looks like it was barely played. The folks who have looked at it at the shop had no idea, no staining of the body from glue, or binding deterioration, and the guitar is so clean the binding matches the condition of the guitar. The original binding did not appear to be finished over, so no overspray on this, just a clean, fabulous job. Otherwise, all straight. Brown soft case, we may have a hard case if interested.
