Description

Ex. A Guild catalog said: "The true classic guitar conforms to specifications developed during the course of several centuries and passed along from generation to generation of guitar makers...conform proudly to the classic tradition in every detail." Guild hired Carlo Greco, a classical builder from Argentina to make the Mark series. Offered in a high-grade rosewood that looks Brazilian but isn't, just particularly gorgeous East Indian. Other features include a solid cedar top, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, tortoise binding, rosewood bridge (just reglued by us). These were priced only 10% less than the ultra-fancy Guild flagship F-50 back in the day. 25.5" scale length, crack-free, minimal wear (what, no bar gigs?). A well-loved guitar with original deluxe hard case with broken handle. Made in Westerly, Rhode Island, USA.
