Birthed at the dawn of the solid-body (when for the firs time a guitar didn't have to look like a guitar) the Guild Polara strutted on to the scene in the 1960's with a swagger and vibe all its own. This first-year model has the 3x3 headstock that is equally eye-catching, the Hagstrom built vibrato system, and dual single coil pickups. Plugged in it touches all those classic Fender tones so fans of blues and surf will be right at home on this one. It has a 24-3/4" scale length, medium sized c-shaped neck, mahogany body and neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. At some point the original cherry finish was stripped off and some thin sealer coats applied like everyone seemed to do back in the day. It's light and comfy and in your hands it feels similar to an SG. The neck was refretted in the not too distant past so it has a ton of fret-life left on it. Comes with a hard case.
