Super fine 1967 Guild Starfire Bass serial BA1073 in beautiful all original condition complete with the original Guild hard shell case. Early Starfire Bass model with Hagstrom made pickup and bridge, factory no guard model, both original thumb rests are intact. Clean all original condition, no modifications, breaks or repairs, a straight neck with a working truss rod, all original parts, all original electronics, not a solder joint touched. The original lacquer finish has sunk into the grain of the mahogany, the face of the instrument is almost perfect looking, no wear present, the color is strong and unfaded. The back of the instrument is beginning to show a small area of wear but other than that pristine. Plays and sounds as good as it looks, a must for any recording environment or collection.
