Summary: This Starfire IV is a great example of the "highly popular semi-hollow Guild classic, with a graceful double-cutaway thinline body and incomparable tone and feel" (GuildGuitars.com). Prized by many guitarists as a solid, well-crafted rocking instrument, this beauty plays and sounds dreamy.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape for its age with normal vintage wear consistent with an instrument from the 1960's. There are a few noticeable dings and scratches on the guitar and there is some natural arm wear on the top side where the finish in no longer shiny. There are a few scuffs on the bag and a few noticeable dings but there isn't much buckle rash - the back looks great!
Playability: This guitar is very easy to play - the action is low & the frets are in good shape with lots of life left. The first few frets have the most wear and there are a few visible divits in the first fret on the B & G string.
