1967 Guild Starfire VI Semi-Hollowbody Guitar

Very good condition. Rare color. FIGURED MAHOGANY BODY! There can't be many of these in existence. The guitar looks to be in very good condition overall but clearly has play wear mainly on the back of the neck. It looks as if the previous owner used a capo leaving marks on the back of the neck. Checking of the finish throughout. No cracks or repairs though. The binding is pretty nice but has shrunk in a few spots. No cracks though and the binding is in better shape than many of these. Comes with the original hardshell case and case candy as shown... The guitar plays and sounds excellent.

The Starfire VI is basically Guild's competitor to the Gibson ES-355. Ebony Board, fancy inlays, gold hardware, Bigsby tailpiece, all add up to a formidable model that is cherished by those looking for something a bit different than the usual Gibson ES-355. It's a Guild; and it's the top-of-the-line of the Starfire models!
