1992 Guild X-170 Blonde w/ ohsc

Summary: With gorgeous flame maple top back and sides and comfortable 2 ½” body depth, this Guild makes for an excellent jazz box with balanced ergonomics and clear tone from 2 humbucker pickups. It is in immaculate condition, has just been set up with low action, strung with a new set of D’addario Chromes Flatwound 11’s strings and ships in its original high quality hardshell case.

Body: Laminate Flame maple construction arched top and back, 2 ½” body depth, 16 5/8” width, multi-ply w/b/w binding, single cutaway and beautiful blonde gloss finish.

Neck: The neck is 3 pieces, flame maple/mahogany/flame maple and it has a bound rosewood fretboard with block inlays, 20 frets, 1 5/8” nut width and 24 ¾” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: Gold hardware, Grover tuning machines, 2 Guild humbucker pickups, 2 volumes, 2 tones, 3 way toggle, rosewood floating bridge and gold tailpiece.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in beautiful shape, there are no breaks, structural cracks or visible repairs to mention. There are no major scratches or dings to see save for some slight pick scratches on the pickguard. There are 2 hairline cracks in the binding around the dot markers of the 1st and 3rd fret but they are very small. There is also one small chip on the end of the headstock.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of flatwound 11 gauge strings and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots.
