DESCRIPTION
Hey man it was the 80’s! For your consideration a 1983 Guild X-702 Bass in a Black Sparkle finish! They only made this model for about 3 years, which makes them pretty hard to come by. We got this one from an avid Guild Bass collector (most our rare Guild basses come from him!). This is the perfect bass for any rock band (hard rock, glam, fusion, etc). The cleanest X 702 we’ve seen!
Specs! This bass is in excellent condition. Its only modification is a new bone nut. It has a 1-5/8″ nut width. Chrome Guild tuners. Mahogany neck with a depth of .86″ at the first fret and .92″ at the twelfth fret. It has a 34″ scale length. Rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5″ radius. Action is set at 5/64″ straight across. 20 medium jumbo frets in excellent condition. Mahogany body with a black sparkle finish. Two guild single coil pick ups with original wiring. Three point roller saddles. Comes with its original hard shell case. Weighs 9 pounds and 9 ounces.
Great playing bass! Super fast comfortable neck. Kill vintage pick ups, lays somewhere between a Precision and a Jazz bass sound. Perfect on stage guitar. The cleanest one we’ve seen!
