*New pics added on request from a customer, some shots down the neck. He was asking about the action and the state of the neck. The guitar plays great with good action and a standard, slight hump in the fretboard where the neck hits the body.

Here's a unique Harmony archtop from their highest quality era. The hand-carved spruce top adds to the beauty of the guitar, and it sounds great as well, much better than you could expect from other archtops in this price range.

The interior stamp is tough to read. I couldn't do better than narrowing this down to being a 1940 or 1942. My best guess is 1942.

There are no cracks or repairs on the guitar. There is plenty of honest wear and checking, but overall the guitar is in great condition. The frets appear large, I'm not sure if they are original, but Id guess they are not. The pickguard appears to be made of solid Brazilian rosewood, and it matches the grain of the bridge. I can't say if it is original or not, but I would assume this guitar would have come with a tortoise guard originally. I can't find another example of this model anywhere, so I can't authenticate it by comparison.

The hardshell case is obviously not original. Tuners are changed with the original holes filled.
