OK, so after numerous inquiries on how this guitar plays I feel a little education is neccessary... These were essentially student or beginner guitars and not professional guitars by no means. They do not have truss rods and the neck thru construction is made of Poplar which is a soft wood not very stable for necks no matter how big it is! 99% of these have forward bows from string tension. Top this off with a shallow neck angle thats common with these guitars and you have typical high action. This is why many great blues guitarists use these for slide which sound incredible. In order to play these as a regular Spanish guitar they need to be modified. There's a great video of Dan Erlewine modding the neck on one of these guitars to play better. Please keep this in mind when looking to purchase one of these guitars. Having said this, here is a Mid 50's Harmony H44 Stratotone in all original VG condition with Heavy Duty Unitec Road Case. Copper finish has some wear and greening on back of neck and body which is common on these Vintage 50's Harmony's. Neck Thru Body Construction. Classic Looks and Classic Tone!!
