Excellent condition featuring A style laminated birch body with faux flame finish, bound top with two unbound f-holes, elevated black pickguard, rosewood bridge, nickel plated metal tailpiece. unbound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, Harmony peghead logo, and four on a strip open gear tuners with white buttons.

This Chicago made Harmony mandolin from the 1960s is a great playing and sounding instrument that is in exceptional condition. Though a budget line instrument at its inception, this mandolin does not disappoint. The tone of this instrument is mellow and round making it a great choice for folk and old-time styles. The mandolin plays exceptionally well and the neck, fingerboard, and frets are in great condition. Though there are finish cracks where the neck heel meets the body (see photos), the neck is not loose. The faux wood grain sunburst finish looks fantastic and is in great condition. If you are looking for a functional vintage mandolin at an affordable price, this Harmony is one to strongly consider. A gem of an instrument shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
