Description

Offered for sale is one of the finest examples of an art guitar available. It is called "The Samurai" and along with it's sister guitar "The Geisha" is Harvey Leach at his best. Harvey Leach is a world renown luthier and inlay artist as well. He has done work for many others such as Olson Guitars, Kevin Ryan Guitars, Collings Guitar, and most notably, C.F.Martin Guitars. You will see his work on most of the most elaborate Martin guitars, such as the 1.5 millionth Leonardo Da Vinci Guitar.

Not only is this a fine piece of art but it is ALSO a folding Voyage Air Guitar (Harvey Leach is one of the founders of Voyage Air Guitar). That's right, this guitar folds in 1/2 for convenient travel!!!

This guitar is the sister guitar to the Harvey Leach Geisha. They are available here on GBASE as a pair for a discounted price. These guitars can appeal to so many different people. Everything from collectors of fine Japanese art to guitarists.

It was built for a museum display and is currently insured for $250,000. These Leach guitars being offered here are a bargain!! You could buy both the Samurai and Geisha for 1/2 the cost of the new guitar and own them today. The new one has a commitment at the museum for close to 2 years and when it's done Harvey plans on offering it for sale around its insured value. Here is information about the museum and display - http://mim.org/exhibits/special-exhibitions/dragons-and-vines-exhibition/
