Heatley Guitars Beaumont - 2021 - Sunburst.
This variation on the Heatley Beaumont has a Mahogany body with a Saple neck and a beautifully figured quilted Maple top. The guitar is adorned with tortoise body purfling and white binding as well as Scott Heatley’s "offset" fingerboard inlays, which double as side markers. They are made of MOP with faux tortoise on the inside of the inlay. You'll also find this theme on the pickguard and handmade "packman" style knobs and tortoise pickup covers.
This Beaumont is as lively as any great guitar we've had the opportunity to play; it has a very full and open EQ response with great clarity, note separation and sustain. This particular example is also of a very light weight and extremely balanced at only 6lbs 14oz. The Mean and Meaner P-90's by Wolftone are an excellent set for this Beaumont, delivering fat P-90 tone with enhanced highs and the perfect amount of mid-range grunt. You’d be hard pressed to find a style of playing that this guitar doesn't excel at.
Other features include translucent tortoise backplates, custom Heatley hardware and incredible access to the upper frets, due to the treble-side cutaway. You'll also notice the fast and comfortable satin finish on the neck that brings playability to a another level.
In well cared for pre-owned condition; this guitar plays excellent but does show some signs of use cosmetically, in the form of various little finish dings. The frets are still in perfect shape. Originally $6,195 when we sold this guitar as brand, new just a couple of years back.
