1997 Heritage 535 Honey Burst, Excellent, Hard, $1,399.00

Just in from the original owner who is a professional jazz performer/instructor in NYC. The instrument has always been maintained by the best techs on 30th Street in NYC. It is 100% original with the following exceptions. The stop tail piece has been upgraded to a light weight vintage stop for better tonal qualities. The original Schaller is in the case. The front pickup has been rewound by Kent Armstrong to provide a bit of a crisper pop across the register. The pickup rings were replaced due to deterioration over the years from every day use.

This instrument came from a true working/teaching professional who makes his living daily with his instrument. For the past 19 years this was his #1.

The neck is as straight as they come and the frets are in excellent condition. The finish is in a beautiful thin skin Honey Burst with what I consider less than average wear for the amount of use it has gotten. No worming or rash to speak off. There a few signs of checking beginning on the back with a few nicks on the head stock and minor indention's on the back of the neck. That is nothing not to be expected after 19 years of continuous use. Needless to say this instrument is broken in and feels like home.

The neck is a slim 60's taper with a rosewood fret board. It is currently set up with AMAZING action using flat wound 11's. The weight is 8 lbs 9 ozs. The instrument ships in the original Heritage Hard-Shell Case.
