Heritage Guitar was formed by several former Gibson employees when the Gibson Guitar Corporation closed its Kalamazoo, Michigan factory in September of 1984. Heritage began operations in a 1917 former Gibson building using equipment purchased from Gibson Guitar Corporation. Since 1985 Heritage Guitar has been making finely crafted guitars in the tradition of its Gibson roots.
This beautiful H-575 archtop was made in 1999 in Kalamazoo. It has a one piece mahogany neck, 24 3/4 inch scale length, and a rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot markers. Figured maple body with cream binding and a single Florentine cutaway. Body depth is a comfortable 2 3/4 inches.
Two humbucking pickups with separate volume and tone controls and a three-way selector switch. Nickel plated tuners and tailpiece with large scripted H really complement the beautifully finished antique natural maple body. The guitar is in excellent, near-mint, condition and comes with its original hardshell case.
