1980 Hiwatt DR103 Black

We got a loud one! For your consideration a 1980 Hiwatt DR103 custom 100! They don’t make them like this anymore! After seeing an amp fail on stage David Reeves decided he could make a better amplifier. In 1966 he founded Hiwatt amps! Hiwatt became one of the corner stones of British tone. At 100 watts this head will put out more then enough volume.

Specs! All hand wired in the United Kingdom! 100 watts of output! Preamp section is composted of four 12ax7s will the power section is made up of four EL34s and a solid state rectifier. Partridge transformers. Comes with a road case!

Hiwatts tend to be harder to get then other British amps. This could easily be considered their most iconic amp! Perfect for any rock band wether a classic rock outfit or a doom band. This amp will blow people away!
