Hofner 500/1 Violin Bass 1960 Sunburst
Here's a 1960 Hofner 500/1 Violin Bass. Very early, all original example, that plays & sounds amazing! This model pre-dates the Cavern bass, and features 'close pickups,' rugby tuners, flat back, and Hofner's vertical logo. Pots date to the 26th week of 1960. The neck has a super comfortable round/medium profile, with good fret life left. The pickups are strong, full, and deliver that classic Hofner tone. Rare, highly collectable, phenomenal bass! OHSC included!
