1966 Hofner 500/1 Violin Beatle Bass Sunburst
Here's a 1966 Hofner 500/1 Violin Beatle Bass Bass in Sunburst finish. This is NOT a reissue! Originality includes the pickups, bridge, tailpiece, pickguard, and nut. The control plate, knobs, pots/wiring, and tuners are repro. The body has a lot of lacquer checking, but no cracks! The bass also has an older neck reset, and some of the binding on each side of the neck at the joint are missing, but no repairs beyond that. So with that said, playability is silky smooth! Plays great. Still room in the bridge to go down for future adjustments. The pickups are balanced and deliver that one of kind Hofner sound! Sounds amazing! HSC included..
