NEW - The Hofner 'Cavern' Violin Bass takes it's name from the Cavern Club in Liverpool, England. Opened in 1957 this Club was one of the most important small clubs in Europe for bands trying to make it big in the Beatboom era. In 1960 the first beat night session was held featuring Rory Storm and the Hurricanes with Ringo Starr on drums and by mid 1961 the Merseybeat scene was in full flow with the Beatles and the Cavern Club centre stage.
Inspired by the original 1961 model which was purchased by Paul McCartney in Hamburg. Fully hollow body. Original '61 Neck profile. Also available in left-handed version.

The Hofner Contemporary CT Series is a more affordable version of the famous German made Hofner Beatle bass. Using all German made parts the HCT-500/1 faithfully reproduces the look, feel and tone of the classic Hofner Beatle bass from the early '60s at a very affordable price. Everyone who buys one of the cool Hofner CT basses always wants the hard shell Hofner case and a set of Hofner Tea Cup knob so the bass looks like McCartney’s Beatle bass. The Hofner Fab Gear CT Beatle bass comes with the authentic Hofner Tea Cup knobs and Hofner deluxe hardshell case at a killer price!

Includes free shipping, and free expert guitar setup!
