We are pleased to offer Hofner's Contemporary Series basses. This new HCT-500/1 Violin Bass is made in China, but utilizes the original German made Höfner HS11B 'Staple-Top' pick-ups with a vintage style control panel that includes 2 volume controls, 2 circuit breakers and Rhythm/Solo switches for volume Boost ... like the original issues! Featuring a laminate Spruce top (like the originals), and a laminate Maple Body (like the originals), the HCT500/1 has an internal sustain block to increase feedback rejection. The 30" scale length 22 fret maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, feels just like a walk down Penny Lane. If you always wanted a Violin Bass and your not a rich man (baby), here it is!
