A rare and truly wonderful Hopf Saturn ‘63.
These uniquely shaped guitars were made at the famous Hoft guitar company, in Germany for a only few years in the 1960’s. A uniquely shaped guitar with a carved solid spruce and a multi laminate neck that was patented by Hopf as the “Everstraight Neck“. There are over 60 laminated pieces of wood that comprise the neck. I counted them!
Guitar is in excellent overall condition with very little play wear. Straight neck, low action and great frets. Beautiful reddish sunburst color with some edge wear and some small dings and flakes mostly around the edges. Tuners are all excellent and work perfect. Original pick-guard is intact!
This guitar produces a wide variety of sounds and is perfect for most all types of music. A truly fantastic player and a great looker!
A truly radical, retro guitar with 2 cat’s eye sound holes on the bass side, offset body, bass side fretboard fret markers, beautiful color, 2 outstanding single coils with a blend switch and volume and tone blends and a great tremolo system! A perfect 60’s 10!
Comes with original, brown heavy canvas, lined, gigbag. These are more rare than the guitars!

Because of the delicate nature of electronics and the possibility of parts swapping, all electric guitars are sold as is. I am not one of those people who makes it a habit of dissecting their guitars and photographing their guts: Only in a rare occasion, if the guitar merits it.
