Super cool jazz guitar made in Germany probably by Wolfgang Huttl, circa 1956-1960. One of the more bizarre arch-tops produced in the golden era of guitar production and a real looker too! She has what it takes to stand out in a crowd; looks, nice tonal range and great projection by the addition of an extra sound hole! …..AND TONS OF MOJO!!!
Check out her gorgeous checker binding and that awesome old pinup girl decal!!!
She has seen use but not abuse. She has had some modifications over the years including a pick guard and floating pick-up, now long gone. There are some tiny plugged screw holes left behind. Her tailpiece and bridge were replaced and her neck may have been very nicely reset. Tuners are Framus and I am guessing that they are original. They all work perfectly with no bent shafts. Neck has a tinge of relief that most players want (photos available) and action is low. A very solid well built guitar. All that being said, she is being sold as is. She will do well playing in a pub or outdoors. She is an outstanding vintage guitar that won’t break the bank. Overall very nice condition and did I mention she is a real looker!
