A true gem from the golden era of Japanese guitar craftsmanship, this 1983 Ibanez AM50 Artist delivers that sweet, warm semi-hollow tone in a compact, comfortable body. Built at the legendary FujiGen factory, this vintage beauty is a testament to the precision and artistry that put Ibanez on the map in the '80s. The AM50 is the little sibling of the more elaborate AM205, but it shares the same DNA: exceptional build quality, killer tones, and unmatched feel. The AM50 was essentially the "stripped-down" version of the more ornate AM205, offering the same build quality and playability but with simpler aesthetics and fewer embellishments. Despite being considered the “entry-level” model of the AM (Artist Mini) line, the AM50 still features premium materials, excellent fretwork, and the legendary pickups, known for their warm, articulate tone.
