Description
1982 Ibanez AR305AV, the legendary AR series model with mahogany burl on the body top.

Ibanez was launched as a brand for overseas export by Hoshino Gakki, and around 1973, the guitar project "The ARTIST SERIES" was launched to directly reflect the voices of players through tie-ups with famous musicians, based on the double-cutaway body shape of the regular target, The following year, a wide range of models were released with four-digit numbers as model numbers. In 1979, the AR series was released in Japan as a triumphant return from its high reputation overseas, with the model number AR, and from this period, the AR series was also released overseas. This 1982 AR305AV is a model with mahogany burl body top of the AR300 released in 1979, and was released in 1980. The mahogany body and mahogany neck set neck construction, and the use of mahogany for the body top also gives it a milder tone than the maple-top model. Controls include volume and tone for each pickup, a pickup selector toggle switch, and a tri-sound switch for each pickup. The Tri-Sound switch allows for three different sounds: phase out, coil tap, and normal humbucking, giving you a wide variety of sounds. The model is a reaffirmation of the quality of the original construction that built the legend.
