The BTB686SC is a member of the Ibanez Boutique Bass series, featuring a rosewood top and ash back with a winged laminated body and a maple and bubinga neck with a through-neck construction. High playing performance up to the high position and excellent stain are attractive. The bridge is a monorail bridge, which provides a pure sound unaffected by the vibrations of individual strings. The body shape is well-balanced whether standing or sitting, making this model suitable for a wide range of activities, from live performances to home recording. This model has the largest sustain of all the models in the series, and also features a tight bass sound due to its 35-inch super-long scale.
