1976 Ibanez Custom Agent Sunburst

Summary: This is an awesome 1976 Ibanez Custom Agent electric guitar with the classic Les Paul body shape & the unique “Scroll” headstock. This original Ibanez guitar features banjo style fingerboard inlays and a pearloid body inlay with lots of detail.

Body: Solid body Les Paul style electric guitar with a single cutaway. This body looks like it has 2 pieces of mahogany & a maple cap.

Neck: Set maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, fancy inlays, original tuning keys, 1 11/16” nut width, 24.75” scale length. This instrument has been re-fretted and the jumbo frets are in great shape.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 covered Super 70 humbucker pickups, gold hardware, original tuning keys, fancy inlays on the fingerboard & the body, 3-way switch, 2 volume knobs & 2 tone knobs, original scroll pickguard!

Cosmetics: This guitar is over 30 years old so it does show normal wear & tear – there are various nicks & dings on the body & the back has some major buckle rash – a few places are worn through the top coat of the finish. There are some dings on the back of the neck but nothing that affects playability! The binding on the treble side of the neck show some wear and light cracking but is all intact with no missing or separating pieces. The pickguard has some pick scratching but it has the “Ibanez Custom” on the top & usually these are missing! The gold hardware is losing some color on the pickups and the tuner buttons but it still shines & looks great. The headstock scroll is fully in tact with no breaks!

Playability: We set this guitar up with a new set of 10’s and adjusted the neck to make sure it plays great! The action is low & the instrument plays great up & down the fingerboard. This instrument has been re-fretted with big jumbo frets & we love the way it feels!
