Circa early 1970s 'lawsuit' era Japanese LP style electric solidbody bass in a really cool EBONY FINISH with gold parts - comes with a really cool vintage gold-lined softshell case, no serial number. Some research seemed to suggest that this is an early Ibanez electric bass, but we cannot confirm that. What we CAN confirm is that this is a really sharp vintage MIJ electric bass that is basically the lawsuit version of a LP Custom bass, but in a bolt-on neck design. She has some really cool binding, front and back, as well as along the rosewood fingerboard. 30" scale, moderate weight, and a cool zero fret round out the design. Frets are in GREAT shape - lotta life. The neck carve is particularly nice - a super soft and rounded V or U shape - very comfortable. This is a great bass for someone looking for something that does NOT feel huge. There are some scratches, dings, and chips - see photos - but for her age, she's in great shape. She will ship in the cool vintage softshell gold lined case you see pictured. Please feel free to call for an in hand description 859-261-5500. Thanks.
