This guitar is a transition from the copy era to the original era. While still paying tribute to the Byrdland design the headstock no longer used the famous makers open book style. It is still equipped with original "Star Back" tuning machines and the tailpiece that says "Byrdland". There is no serial number but the number 4150 is hand written on the Ibanez label inside the body. The pickups have been upgraded to a brand new set of Gibson 57 Classics as the original Super 70's were long gone. The guitar is set up with 10-46 strings and the guitar plays without issue. It shows just a hint of fret wear. The neck is a thin "C" profile. Scale length is 24 3/4". The guitar weighs only 6lbs., 10oz. It appears that the knobs are not original. This guitar ships in a deluxe Roadrunner gig bag.
