Description

Replay Guitar Exchange presents a bass that would undoubtedly tell some stories, if only it could. This Ibanez Musician Series MC-888 "bean bass" has the funkiest 'squished' body shape of its day, and a curiously skinny original hard case to match. It looks like something you'd pull a pool cue from! However, the Japanese-made neck-through design and P/J-esque pickup configuration mean this bass can pull off some serious stage or studio work.

This Ibanez is in Fair condition, with multiple dings, scratches, scars and signs of age. It has an estimated 75% remaining fret life. Its four tuning machines span three different brands. It also sports some comfortable flatwound strings at the moment, no doubt used by the last owner for numerous gigs' worth of worry-free performance and rotund low-end.

As always, feel free to contact our store for more details, or with any questions.
