Ibanez RG550 Modified H 2001 Black Made in Japan MIJ w/ Ibanez Hard Case

This is the reissue of the Ibanez RG550. This one has been heavily modified from the HSH pickup configuration to just a single bridge pickup. The tone knob and pickup selector are also omitted in this new configuration. This could be a great RG for someone who prefers simplicity. 

This guitar shows a good bit of cosmetic wear such as scratches, chips, and dents in the finish and the frets show some normal wear. Most notably. there is on the lower body and upper horns of the guitar. The electronics work as they should. The single pickup does not have a brand name on it, but is similar to a Duncan Invader. 

This guitar has been rewired for just a single bridge pickup and volume knob. The pickguard has been replaced to fit this pickup configuration without the tone knob and pickup switch. The tremolo arm has also been added. The back plates are also missing.
