Since 1987, the Ibanez JEM has enjoyed surprising success. Now, after almost thirty-five years of the JEM, Replay Guitar Exchange is proud to present the amazing Ibanez Steve Vai Signature PIA electric guitar, decorated in a glorious Stallion White with elegant gold hardware. Masterfully-crafted in Japan, the PIA features an alder solidbody with two unique petal grip holes, as well as a pearloid pickguard and a wonderful five-piece maple/walnut neck home to a perfect rosewood fingerboard adorned with PIA Blossom inlays and Prestige fret edge treatment.
The PIA is powered by a hum-single-hum configuration, made up of two DiMarzio UtoPIA passive ceramic humbucker at the neck and bridge, and a DiMarzio UtoPIA passive alnico single-coil in between the other two pickups — giving you an exhilarating and powerful tone with smoother highs, more scooped mids and a more pronounced low end. The Edge tremolo system installed has a groundbreaking Lion's Claw trem cavity for perfect dynamic range and intonation — adjustable by removing the magnetic cavity plate on the back. Steve Vai helped design the wondrous models that launched the JEM into fame, and now his signature PIA is ready to become a part of the legacy as well!
