The Hertz Donut is a complex digital oscillator with a unique mod matrix based 3 operator FM voice and 3 waveshaping modes. The MK3 version takes elements of the original two Hertz Donuts (that were more like a digital re-envisioning of the Buchla 259) and combines them with the 80s synthesis techniques found in the Yamaha DX and Casio CZ synthesizers. The result is a super interesting very harmonic source with an evolving textural sound.

Of course the MK3 series brings many digital conveniences to the modular, adding a built in tuner and full preset recall/morphing over every knob and button, along with extra preferences on user interface. All that make the HD3 a great choice as a unique and super fun sound source for your system.

This used module is in great shape with no rack rash.
