The Jackson David Ellefson CB-XV 5-string X-Series bass bears the personal stamp and distinctive features of the Megadeth bassist. And this particular bass from Replay Guitar Exchange has been autographed by the man himself, and includes a bonus autographed photograph from David! The bass has dual humbucking pickups, a compound-radius fingerboard and sophisticated onboard controls. The bass features an alder Concert Bass body with a gloss finish in black for killer looks. Its bolt-on quartersawn maple neck with special profile shape, ivoroid binding and oiled finish give it a solid yet smooth, playable feel. The rosewood fingerboard contains 21 jumbo frets and shark fin inlays, and the ivoroid-bound black headstock features a ’90s-style Jackson logo. The EMG humbucking neck (HZ40N) and bridge (HZ40B) pickups and EMG BEQ3 active preamp let you dial in just the sound you are looking for. Domed volume, three-band EQ and blend control knobs, high-mass five-string bridge, black hardware, and David Ellefson silver “Fallout” logo on the truss rod cover round out the looks and utility of this 5-string. No case is included.
