You did your time in the '80s and '90s, playing bass and holding down the bottom end for years in different bands. There was always the hope that you would "make it," but inevitably, life caught up with you and those dreams of heading out to California just melted away. Next thing you knew, that long-time girlfriend was now your wife and you had a regular job and a mortgage. Believe me, it happened to many of us- same story, same ending.

Then came the kids and time trudged forward. They went from toddlers to high-schoolers and before you knew it, your hair was thinning and there was some gray in your beard. Sunday football and the easy chair became your best friends and yes, that first glimpse of a potbelly began to peek out from your t-shirt.

Then, the day you hoped would come did indeed arrive- your oldest walked up to you and said these fateful words: "Dad, I wanna play bass," and it was as if your chest was going to burst with both pride and joy. Now you realized that you couldn't give your 6k Spector to the kiddo just out of the blocks and that's exactly where we step in.

This Jackson C20 is the perfect beginner bass with all the features needed to introduce your teen to the world of bass playing. It's lightweight, has a sleek and comfortable neck, and the price won't snap your billfold in half in the event that the child changes their mind and decides to take up the bagpipes.

This bass is clean, having only a couple of small dings and very light surface scratches. We didn't want to send it out with no case, so we have housed it in an Ibanez SD hardshell case that protects it perfectly. It's the beginner package that will serve you and your young bassist for years to come, so please feel free to call or email with any questions on this C20. We'll be available!
