Jacobacci was a French brand of luthery that started in 1924 with two brothers, André et Roger, situated rue Duris in Paris. They were making banjos and Guitars.

The Jacobacci brand became quite famous in France in the 60's during the whole "Yéyé" period (when French musician would cover American Classics while changing the english lyrics for french ones).

The "flag Ship" of Jacobacci was the "Ohio", a solid body electric guitar, mounted with one bridge pickup and an aluminium neck.

Some of the most famous bands of this "Yéyé" era played Ohio guitars, witch made the Jacobacci Ohio a very sought after instrument, but being all hand made, the production was quite limited.

Guitare Collection presents this beautifull 1962 Jacobacci Ohio in a Red Hammered finish.

This Jacobacci is the one to have for any collectors. It is really easy to play after a perfect setup by our resident luthier.

In terms of sound, it's a classic 60's sound, lots of character and brightness (Watch Video).

A very rare collector piece exclusively at Guitare Collection, Paris !
