Jacobacci was a French brand of luthery that started in 1924 with two brothers, André et Roger,situated rue Duris in Paris. They were making banjos and Guitars and stopped their activities in 1994. .

The Jacobacci brand became quite famous in France in the 60's during the whole "Yéyé" period (when French musician would cover American Classics and changing the english lyrics for french ones).

Guitare Collection presents this 1959 Jacobacci Royale R2 (2 pickups RV Tonemaster) in a blond finish. This is a wooden neck version, aluminium neck would latter be mounted on these guitars.

This guitar is all flammed mapple (body and neck) with a brazilian rosewood fretboard. Really easy to play after a perfcet setup by our resident luthier.

In terms of sound, it's a perfect Jazz and Blues guitar with rich warm and precise sounds (Watch Video).
