Summary: The Steelcaster has the look & feel of a vintage instrument while featuring an exclusive steel body with metal appointments. This beautiful guitar has a brushed steel body with a very cool pickguard & control panel with wonderful etched designs in the steel. This awesome guitar comes with the original hardshell case.
Body: Hollow steel body with custom metal appointments, steel pickguard.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, recessed steel cap headstock, 25.5” scale length, 1 5/8” nut width, 6105 frets, 62’ neck profile, 9” fingerboard radius.
Pickups/Hardware: Chrome hardware, Seymour Duncan pickups, 3-way switch, one volume knob & one tone knob, 6 individual saddles, vintage Kluson style tuning keys, original hardshell case.
Cosmetics: This instrument does show some wear but overall it is still in very good condition – there are some marks on the metal with various small scratches on the top and you can tell that this instrument has been played. There is one dent in the metal by the top strap peg. Overall the guitar looks great!
Playability: We set this baby up with 10’s and it is playing and sounding great. The neck is straight, the action is low & the guitar plays up & down the fingerboard with clarity & tone. The frets are in great shape & have a ton of life left in them.
